Its ease of use and seamless integration across platforms are also frequently cited benefits.

It is good at its core function, which is spell check and grammar check/optimization. The AI is ok but not great compared to ChatGPT and Claude.

Grammarly quickly suggests grammar issues and makes it easy for readers to understand business emails and simple documents. However, it's less helpful for marketing copy when you have a specific tone of voice for your business.
I use for creative writing. Especially writing stories or screenplay. I also use it to write copy for advertisements. It helps in better sentence construction, grammar, vocabulary, setting a tone, etc.
Pros
grammar
vocabulary
sentence construction
Cons
cost should be reduced

With Chatgpt available Grammarly is going to face tough competition. But it is the best software yet in its field. I have tried others as well. I feel they can make it more affordable for the customers so they will think of using it rather than chatgpt. If they could bring in new features especially for story writing or screenplay writing it will be of great help to writers like me.
Grammarly has been amazing for us. We use it with all of our writings. When we are creating email sequences for lead generation, website content, blog content, and simple everyday tasks. One of the best parts is the Google Drive integration. My copywriters use it with their Google Docs, and when I open the doc to proof it, Grammarly also makes recommendations for sentences so the article sounds the best it can before going live on a website. The ease of integration of Google products such as Docs and Gmail make our writing sound great!
To be completely honest, while typing this out, I just kept typing and Grammarly helped clean up this review even as I had some typing errors and sentences that just didn't make sense. If that is not proof enough, I don't know what is. Grammarly saves hours of manpower proofreading our content so we can focus on providing the services we do best to our clients.
Pros
Spell Checking
Punctuation
Making sentences sound good
Cons
I feel like Grammarly has started to use a lot of commas in the last month but maybe my writing actually needs them?

I have Grammarly integrated into everything that I can. I use the Chrom Extension, so any content I write, I want Grammarly to correct and make better.
Grammarly is great for collaboration. My team and I are not in the same space, so we each work on the Google Doc in our own office; yet, Grammarly makes sure everything is correct no matter who is writing the content.
I haven't found a scenario where Grammarly wasn't helpful or I didn't want it to correct my writing to improve it.
Grammarly has been a staple tool for my team for more than five years. It's simple, reliable, fast, and a very smart way to spellcheck and get communication clarity in a few clicks in the text box. It saves a lot of time and energy when expressing thoughts in writing. It's a must-have for all writing positions.
Pros
Spellcheck.
Tone check.
Grammar suggestions.
Text clarity improvement.
Cons
Personalization. Although it offers a Standard version of English, I wish to enhance basic texts in my own style.

It's very well suited for any writing. It's not very nuanced for fictional or literary writing; it doesn't understand the context, but it still works well as an effective tool for providing clarity and speed of communication. Double-checks will take seconds instead of minutes. I use Grammarly even while writing this review.

We have Grammarly on top of all written communication from documents, emails, even interoffice chat channels. I cannot remember how many years we've been using Grammarly, but I feel like it's been 5+ years since we first discovered it. Initially, it was more spelling/grammar corrections, but now it is helpful with tone and ensuring the tone is what we intend.
Pros
Spelling
Grammar
Tone
Clarifying sentence structure
Cons
Industry terms need to be added constantly
It seems to want a more formal tone when a casual tone will sufice
Occasionally signs us out unexpectedly

So AI seems to have been the 'thing' in the last few years. Grammarly has been our AI friend for many years before most people even knew of AI with the exception of a scifi movie. Regardless if you're proficient in writing, it's great to have an editor of sort constantly reviewing your written words. It would be really nice if there was a version that could listen to what you're saying and then provide verbal recommendations.
I and my team use it to proof content for the agency and for clients. It helps with readability and grammar. It can also help see if there s any plagerism, this really helps in an age of AI where originality is scarce. It is one of the most user friendly tools.
Pros
UX
Grammar
Readability
Cons
Plagerim - AI focus could be better
Use across all platforms - doesn't work in Agency Analytics

This used to be my go to tool to recommend. I still love the tool and use it in Google documents. However, it doesn't work in all platforms like other tools so I have dropped it down slightly as I know recommend Lanaguage Tool for the team who work in Agency Analytics.
Grammarly helps me write clearly and error-free whenever I'm responding to high-value clients' emails. This allows my team and I to appear in the most professional manner possible. We work in a very fast-paced environment where quick and accurate communication is key, and it's obvious that quick and accurate don't usually go together, so having a tool like Grammarly ensures that we don't sacrifice quality to speed.
Pros
Highlighting any writing errors whether grammatical, punctual.
Suggesting better wording, rephrasing and sometimes omitting unnecessary jargon.
Works cross platform, and allows us to have a space to draft and take notes.
Cons
Loading times can be a little too long especially when writing emails in Outlook and Gmail.
Sometimes it fixes things we don't want to fix.

I recommend all of my colleagues and my students to use Grammarly. I always give examples of how Grammarly saved me when I give lectures to my students and tell them this app is a must-use because it can make a huge difference by just having it running in your browser.
Over the years we've written long articles for magazines and online websites about pet eye health, and we've used Grammarly to assist our efforts. The program has a simple interface and makes pretty good suggestions along the way. It helps us cut down on "word fluff" and make more concise sentences to get the point across.
Pros
Simple to use! That's most important.
Easy to understand user interface that isn't overwhelming or in the way
Gives us good suggestions on implementing different words and/or phrases that make more sense.
We really like the alternate synonym suggestion feature
Cons
Occasionally we notice issues with app, and developers seem a bit slow to fix.
Sometimes the "suggestions" aren't correct (in our opinion)
We've run into issues sometimes with the plagiarism checker being wonky (we don't plagiarize, but it's always good to check to see if anything else it out there that's similar)
Likelihood to Recommend
Grammarly allows us to check for typical grammatical errors, as well as gives us suggestions on better ways to say phrases or sentences. We use it especially when writing longer articles for online and print publications. For the most part, the program delivers on what it says it will. There are a few issues with the program, but not enough to deter us from using it. We rather enjoy it's simplicity.
Even with AI, the app provides an omnipresence that can assist in making even short messages appear professional without spelling errors.
Pros
Grammar correction.
Grammar structure.
Customize tone and style.
Cons
The icon app sometimes hovers over what I am working on, and I cannot see underneath what the change needs.
Using Dark mode isn't very good for the plugin to work. Perhaps the option within the website would be nice.
Thesaurus options would be nice, like a dropdown list, as sometimes the suggestions aren't very accurate for word replacement.

Often, my assistant and I use an authoring tool that doesn't have the most robust spell and grammar check, so I have myself, or he runs the whole thing through Grammarly as opposed to ChatGPT, for instance, as I am not interested in formatting or what an AI thinks, we know what we want to convey, and I only need grammar and spelling, as well as the fact I can adjust the requirements.
