It helps our teams create clear dashboards some good reports that are easy to act on. also we connect it to different systems GoodData brings all the data together in one place that make it easy to understand for us in real time.

So in our case GoodData helps us solve key problems related to data management and decision makings. Our process of analysing data from multiple sources that save our time and energy. also it handle growing data needs by making analytics easy for non tech members in our team.

We're using GoodData to embed dashboards and data visualizations in our product.

Our users were asking for insights into their business based on the data being generated in our product.

Pros

Excellent onboarding and implementation experience with very helpful consultants.
Very good for embedding and white-labelling.
Very responsive support via email and slack.
Developer-focus with good technical documentation.

Cons

Data modelling is difficult and requires technical expertise.
The product is very geared towards technical use cases and can be difficult for non-technical business users.

Likelihood to Recommend

It's excellent for embedding in existing web applications, and licensing is also very well-aligned with this. However, implementing ad hoc internal reporting has been difficult at times due to the technical skills required to set up the data models.

We are an IT software company and we use GoodData for enhancing our decisions making capabilities and make smooth operations through the advanced analytics it offers. We integrated GoodData platform for quite some time now and we can now use raw data into insightful information with it's advance dashboards and tools that helps my teams a lot.

In our case GoodData platform solves our major business problems like Data was of no use earlier, and decision making from the insights.GoodData helps our business identify new trends and optimise the operations.

Pros

First by allowing our teams to share very useful data reports, dashboards also important business insights that makes our teams work more practically.
Second example is GoodData platform keeps sensitive information safe by it's role-based access control with data privacy which helped in protecting sensitive information.
Third example is by handling our Real Huge volumes of data and processing it into useful insights that matter to us.

Cons

First and foremost important is GoodData should regularly update the platform. There are hardly any updates in the past year.
Sometimes it's slow when handling extreme large datasets.
GoodData's implementation is quite a task and it takes few weeks of time to do that so that's an area of improvement.

Likelihood to Recommend

In my experience of using GoodData platform it's best for analyzing customer usage patterns and making data driven product improvement.

Also GoodData does really well in managing and reporting on project KPIs between our entire organisational teams. Integrate the data from various sources and using it to make key decisions is our best real use scenerio.

We are currently using GoodData primarily for data modeling, visual analytics and embeded reporting, which we can integrate directly into our application and share dedicated workspaces with our clients. Key benefits are large scale of predefined metrics, visual components and easily configurable dashboards. Also Data Modeling approach used in GoodData simplifies overall process how to prepare important data sets for us.

Primary we solve our needs to have embeded analytics in our app. With GoodData we dont need any internal development resources to work on this and it was really fast to have it ready and implemented in our platform.

We are using GoodData to help our clients with their employee engagement reporting dashboard metrics and insights. This allows for our clients to see at a glance the effort their engagement methods success rate looks like. This also helps our clients make next action plans on increasing their employee engagement needs.

The business problems GoodData addresses is giving our clients the means to see the performance over a specific period of time so that they can develop and implement the appropriate next steps.

Pros

Organized and Clean layout of dashboards.
Simple setup to get started.
dedicated point of contact and support staff.

Cons

Sometimes changing insights for customization isn't very clear without support
When running into a bug, sometimes finding the source ID is difficult for our reporters

Likelihood to Recommend

I would recommend GoodData based off the ease of use of the dashboards, how organized the reports look and the insights they provide. I also highly appreciated the implementation process being as seamless as it was, with several meetings that guided us through, what to expect and how to best build our reports. They also offered to provide training sessions with our internal team who works more closely with our clients so they felt more comfortable using the dashboard and setup.
