Our marketing team uses ClickUp for project management and quick, easy communication between our internal & external stakeholders. In addition, we use ClickUp to record meeting notes, assign tasks from meetings, and keep the team updated when unable to attend. Lastly, the dashboards and AI features are a great addition to help us execute our marketing activities.
Pros

Cons

For teams that need insight into current project status, workloads of team members, and a place to conduct quick, efficient communication and sharing of files, Clickup excels. It's great for creative teams to avoid sharing via email. However, some of the features are not applicable to our use cases and can seem a bit too much of a platform at times.

I personally use and manage our organization on ClickUp, which means overseeing the work being done daily, the status of orders, and making sure orders with higher priority get assigned to the right user to get it done in the shortest amount of time. If I have a subtask to add to any task it is really easy to quickly add it, along with descriptions and due date changes. Before we purchased ClickUp, we really didn't have a good strategy to manage orders, but life changed when we purchased it, as now every order is itemized under each company tab, so it is very easy to look up what each company has on order, the urgency of the order, and the due date.
Pros
Order Management
Collaboration with Co-Workers
Ease of Use
Notification simplicity
Changes are easy to be made
Cons
Nothing as of now

So far, I don't have any complaints or advice to give to click up to try to improve it, as long as I have used it, I don't think I could improve anything. I'm extremely happy with everything.

ClickUp is used to create, manage, and follow the progress of sprints in a development project. In a sprint, a long list of tickets is created to successfully finish each sprint. ClickUp helps in organizing all the info needed for a specific ticket in that ticket. ClickUp also allows communication in the ticketing environment so everyone can follow the progress or what needs to be done for that certain ticket. ClickUp is also used to ticket any bugs or issues that might come up.
Pros
Tickets.
Files uploaded for the tickets.
Communication inside the ticket.
Assigning different users for a ticket.
Organizing different projects and sprints.
Cons
Better email notification subject.
A reduction of email redundancy for one ticket.

ClickUp is very well suited when a large project or a print needs different steps and tasks to be done. If a project has tasks between employees that are dependent on each other, ClickUp helps reduce the communication needed to follow the progress of the tasks. ClickUp can also be very helpful when used individually as a to-do list where a person lists his/her tasks and thoughts for the task, so they're not lost. Less appropriate usage of ClickUp is when a project is still in the "thinking" stage where no one is sure what's needed of the project yet.
