ClickUp is the single source of truth in our content marketing company. It drives our project flows, holds relevant documentation, and automates communication and task distribution. The ability to track time, hand-off sub-tasks, and organize details without needing to perform 5 "housekeeping" tasks in the middle of project productivity is a massive win for our business.
Pros
Time tracking
Live commenting
Document storage
Cons
Clickup is a tank! It's feature-set is extremely robust and can overload a new user.
Account wall/Guest access. I'd love to be able to send people more info through ClickUp without them needing an account.
Settings navigation: It is sometimes unclear what things need to be handled in the main settings or in specific task cards.

I use ClickUp within my business for internal communication with our team and external communication with a few contractors that we work with. Given we are a remote organization, it is extremely helpful to be able to set assignees for each stage of a project and trust that the next person in line will be notified and able to easily receive the baton. I also use ClickUp at home with my wife to manage our house projects, church responsibilities, grocery lists, and anything else that requires multi-step or long-term planning.
I used the program to create a Gantt chart and track the progress of a project aimed at promoting engineering services. This framework helped me track all the important milestones and actions under them. It was worth noting the simple use for all key project participants both beginners and managers inclusive
Pros
Gantt chart
Project objectives and project sub-objectives
Tracking progress
Cons
Visualization of the project in different time dimensions
Easier project customization

This is a very good and easy tool to use vs competitors. I would highlight interface, the interface is generally user-friendly, although it may be confusing for new users due to the large number of functions. Maybe the most compressed version could be shown to them, and as the user gets to know the program, new functions could be offered to them constantly, and feedback could be requested once a month.

We use ClickUp for project management and sprint management. ClickUp is a great way to keep everyone informed on progress and action items for a particular project. One thing that was very helpful was the development of our website. We were able to break it down into smaller action items and sprints.
Pros
Project Management
Team Communication
Focus Tasks
Cons
Cost
Chat Communication
Security
Likelihood to Recommend
ClickUp is great for project management where you are able to define outcomes and tasks for each member or department. Where is is not helpful is when cards or action items are entered by users who are not clear on the objective of the project and are not familiar or have been trained on how it works.
My team in marketing uses it to delegate tasks and show what each team member has going on. This platform allows us to keep everyone on task and plan out our schedule far in advance as we always have a lot going on. It's easy to get lost and forget tasks that are assigned to you if you don't have a central tracking system, and it also allows each individual to be accountable for their work.
Pros
Tagging projects
Categorizing folders for different topics/campaigns
Collaboration with teammates
Cons
Excessive emails
Navigation around the platform
Deadline setting and progress tracking on the individual level
Likelihood to Recommend
This is great for teams looking for a platform that collaborates frequently and has a lot of different hands in different areas. We are able to have our teammates proof work, set deadlines for projects and add to existing tasks to make it clear what everyone is working on. Teams that don't have as many deliverables might not find the same benefits as teams that churn out material on a daily basis.

Employee in Marketing (Civil Engineering company, 51-200 employees)
As a marketer, I have searched for the perfect tool that can enhance productivity, collaboration, and project management. Click up helps my team keep track of tasks, sub tasks, due dates and the visibility to report out on progress and workload. We started with simple tasks and have continuously added more as we find news way to organize and automate. Our group keeps track of our networks opt into our marketing efforts, legal documents progress, reporting, creative and other to do tasks. Click up has customizable task management, intuitive interface, time tracking, collaborative features, automation, customizable dashboards, guest access, mobile access, and new updates all the time. thank you click up team!
We use ClickUp mainly to track the capacity of our resources (employees). We want to make sure that no one is over-worked at any given time, while also making sure we are utilizing all resources as much as we can. By creating a structure of Spaces, Regions, Projects, and Tasks we can keep everything sorted. We assign a % Allocation value to each task (like this task will take Jeremy 50% of his time for 2 weeks) and use that to make sure we are using resources effectively and efficiently. Using the Gantt and Calendar views also helps us to ensure we are prepared for what's coming in the future.
Pros
Speed
Ease of Use
Clean Design
Cons
The workload view is not very customizable, for example you cannot collapse the allocation bars to a more condensed view
You cannot create placeholder assignees, like if I wanted to assign a task to a "TBD - Designer" if I did not have a specific individual in mind.
Guests cannot even view the workload view

ClickUp has been great on teams that have a steady flow of new projects, and a group of consistent resources that work on those projects. We have not yet tried it on teams that do not get new projects often, or teams where there are many external resources for example that need to work on tasks.
We are using ClickUp for project management and for consolutating information and process. Most of process that we had set up previously with email and pdf forms have now moved into click up. It has been a huge step forward for out department.
Pros
Project Management
Forms
Automations
Cons
Reporting/Dashbaords
Formulas
More customization on the custom fields
Likelihood to Recommend
We found some of the larger CRM platforms too big and complicated for our needs. Clickup was very easy to set up. It has been a great step forward in our project management. If you need to run alot of reports using formulas it is not quite there yet.

Manager in Professional Services (Construction company, 51-200 employees)
We deployed ClickUp as a replacement for our Asana solution, with the aim of using it for product, project, and portfolio management. While Asana worked well for those that knew how to use it, the original implementation lacked training and ultimately led to poor user adoption. A third party was used to help us with our transition to ClickUp, and our professional services included power and end user training, as well as consulting time for building out some initial custom workflows.
Pros
Good price point vs competitive offerings
Simple and intuitive user interface
Easily customizable no-code solution
Cons
More control over notification settings, users constantly claim it SPAMs them
Easier approval feature, maybe a built in button
Likelihood to Recommend
Its been a great product so far, but the more we widen its use, the more we run into tiny limitations. Nothing that we haven't ben able to work around, but just can get a bit clunky in the implementation. These are mostly problems related to lack of granularity in the configuration or settings or in just how the logic works. But overall is getting the job done, and feedback has been generally more positive than Asana.
It is a very useful platform for the management of our engineering team, in the management of our various projects, where it is accessible to everyone via the web. Clickup is able to adapt to any need of our team and is very intuitive and easy to understand. A very user friendly in terms of user interface.
Pros
Different views for a work table
Multiple user cooperation
Easy adptation
Fast procecing
The best tool that we found that ticks all our needs
Cons
The possibility to turn a micro task in to a macro task, so we ca place a gant graph in it
Likelihood to Recommend
the possibilities are endless, as you can see in the various tutorial videos. in my experience managing a team of several civil construction projects, in which there are several tasks that need to be assigned to each different worker is fantastic. There is no major flaw at this moment, which could point out that it is not possible with the clickup

We use it 100% for scheduling and managing permitting, sub-contractors, vendors & customer service on completed projects. Our organization has evolved to be data & communication efficient. So much so that we receive very good reviews from our customers on the timely manor we complete projects. We are months ahead of completing projects compared to our competition.
Pros
