Overall, the dashboard applications are seen as instrumental in providing data-driven perspectives to optimize physical spaces and maintain control over organizational assets.

Location Analytics

I would say location analytics would be the most important one because people spend a lot of money for their meeting rooms and they actually want to know if they are used the way they were intended to be used.

Asset Locator

We use the Asset Locator all the time. We are able to recover lost endpoints in a timely manner.

Behavioral Metrics

The facts from the Behavioral Metrics is very helpful in identifying where the customer mostly goes and which stores are popular.

Cisco Spaces applications allow organizations to identify where and how assets are being used within their organization. How have you used Cisco Spaces’ asset management capabilities to monitor and understand asset usage within your organization?

From 11 reviews | Last Published May 27, 2026

Cisco Spaces offers capabilities for asset management, though reviewer experiences indicate a mixed landscape of adoption and effective utilization. A significant portion of organizations, representing 3 of 11 reviewers, highlighted the platform's positive potential for gaining real-time visibility into asset locations and optimizing their use. These capabilities are seen as valuable for tracking critical assets and understanding their deployment within an organization. However, an equal number of reviewers, also 3 of 11, reported notable limitations or a lack of current implementation for these specific features. These limitations often stem from external factors such as regulatory constraints or internal policy decisions, as well as technical challenges related to the maturity or reliability of the Real-Time Location System (RTLS) functionality. This suggests that while the platform's asset tracking functionality holds promise, its practical application can be hindered by a combination of policy, technical readiness, and organizational adoption factors.

Asset Location Tracking

We use it to get the exact location of assets and guests. We can can track and manage critical assets efficiently.

Asset Tracking Limitations

We're actually not allowed to do that because Germany is very sensitive in terms of where the users are going in our building. And there are certain parts and spaces which we know not use because of a workers' council decision.
