Broadvoice is Great for Business!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I work at a personal injury firm that utilizes Broadvoice for communications. The main issues we face are tracking calls, with detailed logs, recording calls, and using headsets to multitask while making contact calls. Broadvoice addresses all of these concerns. Through the online portal we can not only see who was called and when, but also which office extension called. We can also save recorded calls directly to our server to allow us to refer back to communications had. And Broadvoice's app allows us to Bluetooth headsets to the computer and make calls directly from the app, allowing us to multi task.

Pros

  • Call Logs
  • Call Recording
  • Tech Support

Cons

  • The app crashes constantly and does not let me in.

Return on Investment

  • Being able to refer back to recorded calls has allowed the firm to save thousands by being able to confirm agreements made verbally when there was not something documented physically.
  • Call tracking has given us protections from other firms claiming to not have received communications. We were able to prove who called and when.
  • Broadvoice's Tech Support not only helps resolve tech issues, but they walk you through how to do it yourself should the issue arise again. (If you want that) This has made it so that instead of spending time on the phone for minor issues, we are capable of fixing it quickly with the education provided.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have had Broadvoice as my company's communication source. There are a number applications to utilize the services offered. I was able to set up fax services (which was required for some of our business partners). I was also able to see a record of calls, voicemails and faxes both inbound and outbound. Having that access was valuable for our documentation.

Pros

  • They offer several platforms to access communication tools
  • I have stored records of all inbound/outbound communications
  • Email notifications are sent as a back up to incoming communication

Cons

  • The mobile app could use some improvement as calls were not always seamlessly transferred

Broadvoice VoIP review for Small Business

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have two businesses in one building and employees in cross over in answering the phone. Call groups work well here and give different ring tones to help identify how to answer the phone. The large display window of the Yealink phones worked well for putting a great deal of information on the screen. Service has been reliable.

Pros

  • Customer Service
  • Reliable Uptime
  • Good Pricing

Cons

  • Need more Flexibility and features to setup unique Call groups
  • Train local Tech on the interface setup better
  • Messaging box interface could be better

Return on Investment

  • I reseller sold us, and the pricing was good.
  • Wish I didn't have to sign a three-year contract but is worked out ok
  • We do get billed by reseller for support calls.
