We created a unified customer view with dozens of back end integrations. The system is responsible for both marketing campaigns, their evaluation and to control Sales calls based on the Customer history.
Pros
Their low-code jinja solution for personalization.
The well documented REST API endpoints.
The ease of sharing the definitions, customer profiles with coworkers.
Handling several projects under one account.
Cons
More flexibility for catalogs. To be able to restructure the catalogs after they are created.
It is not properly supported in the system to work with list profile attributes (missing functions like: add to list, remove from list).
The lack of support for integrating two projects under the same account.
Likelihood to Recommend
Bloomreach is well suited for orchestrating different communication channels. It has a great support for gather data from back end systems both with push and pull methods. Their ID and profile merge solutions is really well, but they should improve it by providing more data about which event was stored on which original profile.

However, we are still struggling with creating dashboards and running the analytics and reports that we want. For example sales attribution to specific campaigns is still a struggle.
Pros
The Support from the implementation team was top of the class
Building of 'engagement scenarios' is easy after some training
The training academy is great and interactive
Cons
Creating reports and dashboards is not intuitive
Defining sales attribution per campaign is difficult and still impossible for us
Likelihood to Recommend
Bloomreach Engagement helps us to lift our marketing activities to the next level. We are able to do very detailed segmented campaigns, run our A/B tests, have a good orchestration between emails, push notifications through app and other channels. We finally have a multitude and wide range of customer data in one place, a powerful tool to have. However, we are still struggling with creating dashboards and running the analytics and reports that we want. For example sales attribution to specific campaigns is still a struggle - this is being addressed right now, but has taken weeks to make some progress. This is the reason why I give a 7 instead of an 8.

We use Bloomreach as an easily adaptable and accessible Customer Data Platform filling the role of both email-, reporting-, analysis- and personalizationtool. We needed an accessible product able to elevate the use of our existing datasolutions to a up-to date level and to enable future omnichannel communications at a new level. This is to be done in both code-free and code-possible environments.
Pros
Ease of use
Ease of implementation
Data management
Cons
Barebones email editor
Large imports can be slow
Likelihood to Recommend
If you need an accessible automation/personalization platform with high ease of use and implementation, Bloomreach will suit you well. If you need a highly customizable system/data facility, I would hesitate.

Bloomreach is both our email service provider, hosts a lot of customer data and analytics, and it hosts several of our products (email newsletters). It is integrated with the websites of our products to help provide a more personalised experience for customers. Most of our digital marketing activity is completed using Bloomreach. We also use it to provide part of the content delivery for our advertising proposition.
Pros
User-friendliness
Large scope of opportunity
Granularity of customer data
Cons
Greater options for templates in B2B marketing
Open scenarios on 'design' rather than on 'evaluate'
Easier to edit weblayers
Likelihood to Recommend
As a provider for our email newsletters, it is easy and simple for all relevant departments to collaborate, save, update and edit the product. Customer segmentations and building email scenarios is intuitive. Setting up OSM is simple and easily achieved, but could do with a more sophisticated 'drag and drop' editor. Reporting is sophisticated and granular, but accessible.

We use it for e-mail marketing and Bloomreach easily ensures the best deliverability at top speeds. It allows us to create user-friendly dashboards to keep the key departments informed about the relevant KPIs at all times and the automation feature is very powerful and easy to use to greatly reduce the user churn we had.
Pros
Deliverability
Automation
Data management
Segmentation
Multi-language
Customer Service
AB Testing
Cons
Monthly fee pricey.
Likelihood to Recommend
Bloomreach has a huge potential if properly explored and used for all the multi-channel marketing it offers. If you're just looking for a simple e-mail service provider, then this might not be the product for you. But if you need multi-language campaigns, reliable deliverability, and responsive templates with no need for HTML knowledge, then this is the right product.

We use Bloomreach Engagement to build automated, joined-up user journeys across multiple channels. This is done in a much more scalable way compared to our previous marketing automation platform. It also provides the ability to use multiple channels closer to the marketeers and frees us up to think more strategically. Having various channels available, alongside reporting and data management capabilities in one platform, helps us react faster to news events and get promotion materials out quicker.
Pros
User journey orchestration
Customer data management
Consent management
Multi-channel marketing
Cons
Reporting capabilities could be improved and made more flexible
The survey functionality has a lot of potential, but it needs more support and options
More channels should be integrated into the scenario builder
Likelihood to Recommend
Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud is a great platform for building, managing, and optimizing end-to-end user journeys. It's also very scalable, and provides multiple channels for users, with good data and consent management features for those wary about compliance issues. Aside from the core functionality around user journeys, I feel that other channels and features could be built out more (and I have no doubt this will happen in the future). This is the main thing stopping this from being a 10/10 offering, which the core functionality is.
We use it to house customer data, marketing to new customers via emails and weblayers. It's our essential marketing tool for several products. We also use it to deliver part of the product (email newsletters). I use it for planning, designing, implementing and reporting on marketing campaigns, and to analyse customer behaviour at various points along the user journey.
Pros
Easy to learn how to use and quite intuitive
Customer segmentation
Simple to find the data I want
Help and support
Cons
The email editor could be simpler - it doesn't always behave how you expect it to
Weblayer design: it's not easy to change images in the visual editor
Likelihood to Recommend
It is by far the best ESP I have used - it has capacity to do far more than I will ever need but I find this makes it worth investing time and effort into. It's set up well for collaborative working, especially when editing scenarios or email content. Weblayer functionality is well designed, but could do with a simpler way to test out new projects. It's a great and essential hub for all marketing activity.

We use it to send emails and show weblayers across a range of products and webpages. It's really helpful can we can pick exactly who we want to target, when, where etc. The reporting capabilities are just fantastic as well and we are able to measure just about everything. A great resource and I honestly don't know how we managed previously.
Pros
Targeting contacts
Reporting capabilities
Creating bespoke content/ editing options on emails, weblayers etc
Cons
I'd like to be able to organize the nodes in scenarios to be perfectly straight.
Being able to send emails bimonthly easily would be great.
Don't have the help chat pop up in each tab if you have multiple open
Likelihood to Recommend
It's helpful when we want to send email campaigns to a vey niche group of people. By using condition nodes we can target users very effectively. Segmentations are also super useful in order to get a full image of our audience, but also when utilizing conditional rows in our emails.
