Pros
Effective marketing automation across multiple channels (email, SMS, push notifications) based on customer data consolidation.
Demonstrated ability to increase revenue through automated and personalized campaigns, according to 50% of reviewers.
Efficiency gains through reduced campaign costs and optimized ad spend, as reported by 37.5% of reviewers.
Robust reporting and analytics capabilities for tracking product performance and customer retention.
Cons
Inconsistent user experiences with AI-powered features, with some users reporting concerns or non-usage.
Potential for underutilization of AI capabilities, as some users may not be fully leveraging the platform's AI tools.
A central location for all of our zero party data, allowing us to create business reports to look into the product performance, customer retention, business growth, as well as the ability to actively generate ROI with email campaigns, be it triggered or BAU newsletters.
The on-boarding team created a smooth journey of integration, from connecting our Shopify+ account to linking our Meta ad accounts so that we're able to incorporate ad audience building to increase the efficiency of our Paid media ad spend.
I use the platform every day as the Senior CRM Executive at [...] and the UI makes it incredibly easy to use.
Pros
The product recommendations engine allows for us to create a personalised experience for every customer across the 3m emails we send each month. This ensure that our customers remain connected to our brand.
The customer data platform attached to Bloomreach Composable Personalization Cloud provides an all-in-one solution for our business intelligence needs. Allowing up-to-date purchasing, behaviour, and engagement reporting from our email to website activity.
The ability to integrate with Meta and other paid ad formats allows for us to create a connected omnichannel experience for users, ensuring we are providing the right message, to the right person, at the right time, in the right place.
Cons
Though it has seen a mass of improvements in my time using the platform, the data platform is not always the easiest, or most intuitive to use and may require a level of teaching to understand how to use.
Reports allow for only one event to be tracked in a single report which can make it difficult to accurately review certain metrics that are relative to others (such as the opt out rate being those unsubscribed divided by those emailed).
Likelihood to Recommend
Our most effective use case of the personalisation cloud is within our Welcome email strategy where we allow the recommendation engine to suggest to users our most popular products of the last 30 days, this allows us to keep on top of seasonal trends without the need for consistent manual work to update these campaigns.
We have also tried to use this within our winback email strategy to lesser success where we have experimented with showcasing new products and bestselling options, but we have not seen the success of the Welcome series replicated across.
I use Bloomreach for marketing purposes, email campaigns.
Pros
It offers flexibility in terms of customization, allowing businesses to tailor the platform to their specific requirements.
Integrates with various third-party systems and applications, such as customer relationship management (CRM), marketing automation
Cons
Improving documentation can assist users in understanding and leveraging the full range of features and capabilities. It could be clearer or more detailed.
Simplifying customization processes and providing more user-friendly tools for non-technical users could enhance the overall user experience.
The platform's performance in terms of speed and responsiveness could be improved on.
Likelihood to Recommend
Bloomreach is well-suited for businesses that prioritize personalized online shopping experiences. Its machine learning algorithms analyze user behavior and preferences to deliver tailored product recommendations and content. If a business has minimal customization needs and prefers a more straightforward solution, Bloomreach's feature set might be considered overkill. Businesses with basic requirements may find simpler platforms more suitable.
It's mainly used for sending out newsletters and analyzing customer behaviour. Besides that we manage here also customer profiles. Additionally we manage from here double opt in subscription, consents, abandoned cart and net promoter score. Not only reports, but also customer segmentation is also implemented here to better understand customers.
Pros
storing customer data
segmentation
analysis
Cons
more user friendly use of textboxes
better synchronized reporting of orders and revenue
Likelihood to Recommend
Well suited for monitoring customer behaviour whether it is purchasing, surfing and storing the data which can be used later for segmentation and targeted, relevant communication and reports help to understand the outcome better. It would be nice to have an integrated html system built into the system and also if links for campaign would not be needed to copy manually
We use Bloomreach to manage events, segmentation, automated flows, manage customer data, weblayers and email marketing. Bloomreach allows us to understand our database and adjust every single aspect of the customer journey.
Pros
Email template visual editor
Segmentation capabilities
Real-time triggers
Cons
Priority queue - would be good to prioritize certain emails over other in pre defined categories. We have frequency but this would have a deeper control.
Likelihood to Recommend
Exceptional customer 360 view. Real-time individual communication with customers. Calendar view could be improved for business models that rely a lot on email marketing.
I use Bloomreach to manage the CRM of Sonora. Bloomreach helps me create intuitive scenarios that launch automated communications to the end user of the platform all with the objective of generating seamless captivation and retention of the users. Once the scenarios are designed and launched, they work non-stop. Bloomreach also allows me to create AB testing scenarios in order to see whether certain communication formats work better than others. That being said, Bloomreach offers data analytics that has helped me make these decisions.
Pros
Intuitive user experience.
Good data analytics that helps decision making.
Good price for value.
Cons
Some features like the definition of certain elements in the data analytics require some understanding of coding.
Does not allow two users to work simultaneously on the same scenario.
Likelihood to Recommend
As a manager at an entertainment platform, Sonora helps us maintain a consistent communication flow with our end user. It allows this communication to be automated which helps our team focus on what's important - making sure the creatives of the communications are well suited for their objective and ideating new scenarios for communication.
We are partners of Bloomreach, so we do different use cases for various clients. We start with integrations and then continue with basic use cases and then custom use cases depending on client.
Pros
Bloomreach environment is really fast
As a client you can build so many things customised or just picked pre-defined solutions
Native integrations
Cons
As I use Bloomreach just for the first month I do not have nothing to add here
Likelihood to Recommend
Since I'm working with Bloomreach platform for just one month, I can't accurately describe positive or negative scenarios. But what I see the biggest advantage is good UX of the platform, so you can easily explore all the functionality. What I see as a biggest negative scenario, is that you can easily lost data, when you are not familiar with all the stuff Bloomreach offers. In some features they'd better add doublecheck steps.

We are using Bloomreach as a CRM and CX platform, which help us understand user journey and target specific segments in real time. We are using segmentation, website personalization and automatic campaigns as a whole marketing automation strategy. But we also focus on all the customer data, which are used as secondary analytic source.
Pros
Custom data tracking
Quick real-time analytics
Omnichannel marketing automation
Custom segmentation
Access to model and use raw data
Cons
Better data storing options
Little bit pricey
There is a lot of space for mistakes in tracking, which is hard to repair
Likelihood to Recommend
Automated campaigns are in all the marketing automation tools, but BCE is exceptional in usage of tracked data. Making conditions, segments or create another data from the tracked data. Data can be manipuled and stored in a lot of ways, depends on use cases. Reporting and attribution is also very quick effective.
- Multichannel communication with customers, direct and personalised - Customer data analysis
Pros
data processing with use in communication
collects everything in one place
complexity of solution
Cons
custom color formating in reports
adjusting the column width of tables in reports
the possibility of showing movements in reports and dashboards (currently available only in segments)
setting a minimal time between two steps in funnels
email template preview automatically rendered for customers who would flow through the scenario to the template
being able to compare a customer attribute and a metric in a condition
tracking ad audience name in the campaign event (not only audience id)
voucher pool alerting once the pool is running out of vouchers
Likelihood to Recommend
I have never worked with such complex tool for marketing. There are only some super speciffic cases when Bloomreach doesn't provide a way to work it out.
We help businesses get their data to the platform in a sensible structure (data mapping, backend & frontend data integrations) and use the data for analytics and better targeting of communication.
Pros
user-friendly UI
broad range of native integrations
Cons
missing - other types of authentication for webhooks
sometimes delays in processing the imported data
Likelihood to Recommend
well suited - big businesses with clean databases and customer ID structures
less appropriate - small and mid-size businesses (because of cost), businesses with lack of technical people to set things up in the platform
Mainly, we're partners with Bloomreach, and my department is working on different levels of integration within Bloomreach Engagement. My personal case is frontend tracking; we're tracking as much customer data as possible via both frontend/backed ways. Also, based on customer traffic/preferences, we're building a unique experience for each customer via creating personalized webinars, experiments, and mainly recommendations. Based on different approaches/customer flow, we set up recommendations in special ways that the''re always important and useful for customers, which leads to increasing in our client's revenue.
Pros
Weblayers
Experiments
Tracking via custom tags.
Scenarious based on customer behaviour.
Cons
Would be nice to have bloomreach integration via ReactJS.
More ways to control experiments.
Same one for weblyaers.
Likelihood to Recommend
Well suited: Customer tracking via frontend/backend events. Based on tracked events, a lot of scenarios/events could be sent to customers, such as push notifications or emails. Page personalization based on different conditions for each customer Less appropriate: Some plugins for integrations are not working properly 'out of the box' like Magento.
