You are provided with a variety of options to brand your Bloomfire community, such as customizing its colors, displaying your organization’s logo, and building a custom Promo Bar. This creates an aesthetic that truly reflects your company’s culture.
Bloomfire features an AI-powered search that makes sharing and searching for information a lot easier. It deep indexes every word in each piece of content, regardless of whether it’s a PDF, slide deck, video, or any other file type. The platform also creates tags for your content automatically. And if a video is uploaded, Bloomfire automatically transcribes it, making the spoken words searchable and allowing users to jump to the exact part of a video where certain keywords appear.

All of those features result in an easy and smart searching experience. There’s no need to navigate through folders or guess file names. All you need to do is perform a search like you would with Google. When searching, you can further narrow down your results based on categories such as author and content type.

Bloomfire has helped our Knowledge Management team create an integrative resource tool that houses processes, procedures, and policies for our front-line representatives and agents. Since its inception, Bloomfire has worked with our specific requests and needs to enhance the experience, both for the creator (Author) and reader. This has then allowed us to expand responsibilities and roles to other departments by empowering them to contribute, edit, and support one another in the expansion of the knowledge base. Every year the ease of use becomes more intuitive and affords us efficiencies we did not have with our last knowledge database.

  • I would love to see the ability to tag, search, and identify images for easy replacement.

Bloomfire is a program that is provided to us for quick research for company-related material. If we have a question or need a form everything is located in Bloomfire. Other directors may have questions and find answers quickly because there are so many other directors that have asked the same question. If we are looking up and need appropriate forms to fill out simply typing in keywords bring us straight to what we need.

  • Allows us to see previous questions and answers that we may have easily.
  • Has easy access to documentation forms that we can print out easily.

  • Have a directory of forms so we can go straight to them and print them out.

We are a data-driven company and being that it is the insurance industry, training and reference materials are essential on a minute-by-minute basis at times. Without this data and reference material, we are dead in the water. The managers in our company have striven to make sure we have that training and information at our fingertips at all times and the tool we use is Bloomfire.

  • I keep several windows open at once with different info. It has cut my production time by more than 2/3
  • As managers update info on the platform it helps to keep me from making regulatory mistakes in my documentation by instantly providing the information I need.
  • It is easy to use so I feel zero stress using it in my workday

Bloomfire is our primary tool for onboarding across different verticals at Kargo. When the new hires start, we choose a relevant vertical (e.g. business intelligence, revenue operations, product management) and then have access to a host of different training sessions. These sessions vary and can be in the form of videos or articles. The main problem Bloomfire addresses is needing to get employees up to speed quickly and efficiently, and allows employees to access the information most relevant to them.

Pros

  • Segments information resources by category.
  • Leverages video in tandem with slides/text to provide a diverse suite of learning formats.
  • Community access lets you know what people in your organization are working on currently.

Cons

  • I would recommend adding a feature to combine different posts/series by job title (so in addition to the Revenue Ops category, there could be a structured walkthrough for Revenue Manager).
  • Live Q+A sessions for group onboarding initiatives.
  • Ability to label bookmarks by priority/job type.

  • Bloomfire has a notable impact on the speed at which new team members onboard.
  • Helps standardize our best practices by directing users (employees) to the same resources for a given question (i.e. how to pull a traffic report from Looker).
  • Allows employees to gain access to higher-quality information and helps eliminate the bias of individual people teaching a given subject, as opposed to a collaborative group learning effort.
