Bloomfire is a versatile platform that offers a wide range of use cases to its users. With Bloomfire, users also have the ability to store and access important documents, benefiting both office-based employees and those working in remote project sites. The platform's ease of navigation has been widely praised, making it effortless for users to locate the information they need. Bloomfire is our knowledge hub. We have all of our guidance, reference, and research saved there. We utilize Bloomfire a little differently as we only allow SMEs to update and post. Our users have the ability to flag posts but not comment directly about or respond to questions. Bloomfire has allowed us to not have multiple versions of guides, templates, etc. in use.
Pros
Allows insight into posts that are not utilized so the team can look into why, or if needed.
Allow to publish posts quietly.
Ability to follow and bookmark posts is a feature our team uses.
Allowing copy and paste from a Microsoft document and being able to keep the formatting.
Cons
The autosave feature, while nice, causes us to have many saved but not published posts. The correct post is published but the "starter" post is also saved.
Allow for view capability of email templates that are uploaded, without having to download to see them.
Likelihood to Recommend
Bloomfire has been very well suited for our use. It's our one-stop knowledge hub. By design, we don't utilize the collaborative functionality. Any company that has information that needs to be shared, viewable by all or a subset, would benefit from Bloomfire. The management of content is very important, which is true regardless of the application being used. Implementing this solution without consideration of who will manage and curate content will result in outdated information quickly.
Bloomfire is our primary tool for onboarding across different verticals at Kargo. When the new hires start, we choose a relevant vertical (e.g. business intelligence, revenue operations, product management) and then have access to a host of different training sessions. These sessions vary and can be in the form of videos or articles. The main problem Bloomfire addresses is needing to get employees up to speed quickly and efficiently, and allows employees to access the information most relevant to them.
Pros
Segments information resources by category.
Leverages video in tandem with slides/text to provide a diverse suite of learning formats.
Community access lets you know what people in your organization are working on currently.
Cons
I would recommend adding a feature to combine different posts/series by job title (so in addition to the Revenue Ops category, there could be a structured walkthrough for Revenue Manager).
Live Q+A sessions for group onboarding initiatives.
Ability to label bookmarks by priority/job type.
Likelihood to Recommend
I think Bloomfire is most appropriate in a medium to large business entity since onboarding can be difficult without an organized tool to prioritize job functions. It would be most well suited for positions that incorporate data analytics/reporting and consist of regular deliverables. So for example: if an accountant wants to learn how to compile a cash flow statement but also has to turn it into a client-facing presentation, there are resources specific to internal accounting and then separate resources (also in the accounting vertical) for data visualizations and client reporting.
We have a partnership with Mulesoft and we have Bloomfire credentials as a part of the partnership benefit. We regularly use Bloomfire to know the latest Mulesoft community updates. Also some updates with respect to Mulesoft composer with Salesforce. We usually get access to some partnership enablement sessions. We also get benefited from the Training and certifications operations guide.
Pros
Training and certification guidance
Some interesting articles on mulesoft composer with salesforce
Also some partner sales talks
Some latest updates on Mulesoft
Cons
Firstly UI should be improved
Some important articles are on last pages should be able to navigate easily
we are expecting latest techniques and updates on Dataweave concepts
Likelihood to Recommend
Bloomfire is well suited for registering easily with partnership sessions. Some sales sessions will be so informative. Some of the tech talks will help us to know the latest practices followed in the market. The latest updates on Mulesoft can be found in articles published in Bloomfire. Also, some guidelines related to Anypoint studio can be found here.

We use it to share valuable and timely information with all of the other partners. We are constantly getting new versions of older documents and brand new documents and with Bloomfire we can easily stay up to date with the latest information. We also have the ability to comment on the materials and share ideas and questions.
Pros
Sharing information
Keeping the most up to date materials obvious
Allowing users to comment and ask and answer questions.
Cons
Not sure if it already exists, but it would be good to have a dashboard of key statitics
Have an option for a list view or the thumbnail view

Bloomfire works great for managing a large database of knowledge, like whitepapers, blog posts, and other documents that you want to share openly with a large audience. I don't think it handles security well, so I would not recommend it for confidential information, although maybe there is a feature that I am unaware of that would make that possible.
We utilize it as a hub for all learning & collateral materials. Bloomfire was used instead of using Box or Google Drive like other companies.
Pros
Organize and house learning materials
A source for leadership and teams to upload collateral to take to market
There is a place for comments and feedback which is incredibly helpful
Cons
The search feature often brought up many unrelated posts that made it harder to find materials
Better organization within the UI and each post
Likelihood to Recommend
It's well suited in a work environment that utilizes cross-functional teams & collaboration. Now that most of us are WFH for a while, it's nice knowing it's a one-stop-shop for all collateral, learning materials, training & much more. [So] you're able to link and upload documents and powerpoints, which [makes] it easy to find + download what you were looking for.

Account Manager in Customer Service (Marketing & Advertising company, 201-500 employees)
Bloomfire is used as a reference tool to locate answers when you need to have one in a hurry, you type in keywords and the search will return everything subject related to the keyword or search word used. Less is more, the more targeted/specific you are, the better your search results.
Pros
Search engine
Shareable information
You can like and follow any person that creates an article
Cons
I currently don't have a wish list for Bloomfire, it's working fine for what I need to do with it.
Likelihood to Recommend
There's always room for improvement, I haven't stumbled across anything yet, I'm relatively a new user with less than 6 months of experience. As it goes, I'll more likely than not have a recommendation.
My company is using Bloomfire within the entire organization. It has become our online resource for all company-related information. It has allowed us to move from internal documents being stored in different areas and not very accessible, to being organized and readily accessible within Bloomfire. Content is added and updated seamlessly. New hires can easily find content that allows them to quickly familiarize themselves with their new company and position.
Pros
Organize content
Provide restrictions to content
Great interface
Customization per organization
Cons
Better search functionality
Compact view for bookmarked or frequently visited content
More robust editing options within content
Likelihood to Recommend
Bloomfire is best suited for an organization that wants to move internal content from paper or multiple sources into one space. Bloomfire would be less appropriate for a smaller organization.

Manager in Finance and Accounting (Accounting company, 51-200 employees)
I'm a relatively new employee to the company, and it seems like we are using Bloomfire for many things. In my role, we use it as a knowledge base of self-help articles, almost as a wiki. We also post announcements and constantly changing information like contact information here. I believe other departments use it as a dashboard with company news and information relevant to their jobs.
Pros
SSO Support - Not just another username/password to remember.
Easily updated - No strange code or obscure formatting options.
Feedback options - People can post below articles or flag articles for review.
Cons
Search function needs more SEO, but that may be because of my company's implementation.
Likelihood to Recommend
Bloomfire is useful for posting specific articles or broad overviews and technical manuals. It is only as useful as you make (and maintain) it. The way my department uses it, it's not very useful for rapid dissemination of mission-critical information, but it is useful for putting info out there for people to search for and find.

Technician in Information Technology (Accounting company, 201-500 employees)
We use Bloomfire across our whole company. Bloomfire enables us to connect with coworkers in different departments and locations in the us quickly with specific questions about our products or suggestions that pertain to a unique situation that a client has.
Pros
When a coworker posts on Bloomfire or someone responds to a post we all receive an email notification. This is extremely helpful as we don't always have the time to pick up the phone.
I am able to see others questions answered and search back in the future if I have a need for the information shared.
I like that I can order my search on Bloomfire to oldest first.
I have learned more about my company and felt support from the whole team, it keeps us all connected.
Cons
Improve the video viewing.
Incorporate a previously asked questions capability.
Likelihood to Recommend
Bloomfire is well suited to our 500 employee company, it keeps us connected without being overwhelming as the quantity of the messages sent daily is not overwhelming. Bloomfire is well suited for quick snips of information and questions. I don't think group training would do well unless the video quality was improved.

Bloomfire is being used by the organization I work for to assist clients more effectively. Bloomfire serves as the organizations' encyclopedia for internal use of organization employees.
Pros
Bloomfire provides tons of helpful information.
Information is constantly being added to Bloomfire for internal employees to use.
Bloomfire makes helping clients easier.
Cons
There is still a ton of information that can be added to Bloomfire, which will be done overtime.
It is sometimes difficult for employees to access Bloomfire.
Bloomfire has information that may not be relevant, and needs to be removed from the database.
Likelihood to Recommend
I receive tons of phone calls daily where I rely on Bloomfire to help me assist clients. Because of Bloomfire, I am able to assist clients more effectively. I use Bloomfire so much, that some of the information in the database I have mentally recorded, and remembered on my own.
