The all in one ERP solution has allowed everyone in our organization to be on the same page. The analytics (Dashboards) has provided useful data to all departments within our organization.
We use Acumatica to facilitate all Accounts Payable processes, from invoice entry, signing off within different apartments, and then invoice payment. When it comes to Accounts Receivables processes, we create customer contracts and invoices. Our Sales team also references these customer contracts and invoices to get information on customers in a more efficient manner. Acumatica tracks our customer annual rate increases, provides historical payment information, and provides a very easy user interface.
Pros
A/P Invoice review process
A/R Customer payment portal
Generating customer statements and emails
Cons
An A/R aging report that more dynamically combines the detailed and simple reports
When entering customer payments, loading the open customer invoices to apply to is quite labor intensive
It would be convenient to be able to re-use item IDs more than once when creating the detail line items in a customer's contract

It is extremely convenient and efficient just how often attachments and notes can be added to an A/P invoice, A/R invoice, customer contract, just about every facet of Acumatica that I use as a Staff Accountant. The ability to create preferred report shortcuts and dashboards is quick and insightful.

We use it for entering orders, receiving payments, and entering POS. We use it for production orders. We use it for planning production, for planning purchasing, and we're trying to get it started for lead generation and emailing.
Pros
I love the generic inquiries. We've created many of our own and it's very helpful and easy for the users to understand there are fields that they can click through and get to other pages and it's wonderful.
Cons
We have kind of a complex pricing structure and we use line discounts as well as group discounts. And the group discounts are a bit difficult to use. We can't see it on the first page of the order. We can't see a for each price on an item and so we've had to modify our forms quite a bit to get that to work for us. It is working, but I would love for some of that to be more visible to my end users.

We were able to implement MRP with Acumatica and we had tried in the past on the previous legacy system that was much more complicated and just not, we weren't seeing a benefit of MRP, it took us a few months. There was a big change for us, but we've implemented it now, everybody's raving about it. So that part, I love the MRP for sure, and we are having ship internationally as well as domestically, so we were not able to use Acumatica is built, built-in shipping, so that was somewhere where it didn't work for us.
We use Acumatica for all accounting functions, payroll, field services, etc. love Acumatica for its open architecture. We can customize to work the way we need to.
Pros
Customization
Automation
Open architecture
Cons
Payroll
VAR requirements

Acumatica allowed us to take our Finance team into the 21st century. Our monthly close was a tedious problem previously and navigation in our previous ERP was difficult. Our AP team was able to implement approvals.
Pros
Ease of navigation
Continually adding features
Ease of integration with other products
Cons
Payroll Reporting
Payroll History functionality
Easier ways to make sure permissions aren't breached

The scalability of the product as well as the licensing model made it an easy decision. For large organizations, hands down this is the best value to get the most users into the sysytem.
We use Acumatica for purchasing, financials, fixed assets. We recently added the project management and construction modules. Acumatica addresses the need for fast and efficient business processes, while also providing detailed reporting.
Pros
Business events are a great addition that help streamline and automate processes that could otherwise be overlooked or take up a lot of time.
The purchasing and payables system work seamlessly together to ensure that purchases are accurate and timely from request to invoice.
Dashboards are very helpful in displaying the data you need at your fingertips. It is crucial to have this information ready for both myself and other employees.
Cons
The report designer is EXTREMELY difficult to use. Without knowledge of coding , it can be almost impossible to even add or edit existing forms, yet alone build a new one.
The fixed asset module could use a little work to make it easier to use. Also, a place to keep information related to the asset other than just an attachment would be nice. This could include expiration dates for insurance, etc.
Security profiles can be difficult to build out. Adding more default profiles for different positions or suggestions for access points to turn on/off.
Likelihood to Recommend
Acumatica is well suited for a centralized place for all financials and related information. It is less appropriate for reconciliations and other reports that can be difficult to build in Acumatica.
