Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

We use Acumatica to facilitate all Accounts Payable processes, from invoice entry, signing off within different apartments, and then invoice payment. When it comes to Accounts Receivables processes, we create customer contracts and invoices. Our Sales team also references these customer contracts and invoices to get information on customers in a more efficient manner. Acumatica tracks our customer annual rate increases, provides historical payment information, and provides a very easy user interface.

Pros

Cons

  • An A/R aging report that more dynamically combines the detailed and simple reports
  • When entering customer payments, loading the open customer invoices to apply to is quite labor intensive
  • It would be convenient to be able to re-use item IDs more than once when creating the detail line items in a customer's contract
  • Has allowed for quick on-boarding of new staff members, building confidence and allowing them to take on new tasks quickly
The ease and speed at which we can pull reports on things like payment history and customer statements aids in customer satisfaction. Accessing invoices and their corresponding revenue accounts brings insight in a relatively easy user experience.
Being a Data Center, we use Acumatica mostly for accounting purposes, from A/P and A/R to creating financials. Our Sales team and Facilities team come in to review customer history and purchase orders, etc. Purchase Orders are the other way that we most utilize Acumatica. We could be utilizing more!

It is extremely convenient and efficient just how often attachments and notes can be added to an A/P invoice, A/R invoice, customer contract, just about every facet of Acumatica that I use as a Staff Accountant. The ability to create preferred report shortcuts and dashboards is quick and insightful.
