The thing that I love about Acumatica is that it has carved out a reputation as a robust, cloud-based ERP system, which has been tailored for small to midsize businesses (SMBs), though its scalability also appeals to larger organizations. Acumatica’s interface is modern and intuitive, with a clean dashboard that centralizes key metrics. Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Acumatica to take care of all of our accounting ERP needs that we have, and we use it to integrate with Procore which does our project management, so we need a system that is able to integrate back and forth between our accounting and our project management.

Pros

  • We just went live about two weeks ago, so we are here at Acumatica Summit to see everything it's capable of. One of the things it is capable of is the dashboards and the integration with some of these third-party people to ensure we can get the data we need when we need it, so we're looking forward to getting all that live for us.

Cons

  • I think improvement, we don't know too much yet as we're just now going live, but the customization is the thing that's nice about software like this, you are able to customize it very well easily, but that takes a little bit of understanding to get to know that, and so we're not quite there yet. That'd probably be my complaint, even though it's not really a complaint, it's just able to do too much for us.

Acumatica has streamlined our financial process. It's super easy to use and has 100% accuracy in tasks. It can handle the complete Supply chain process, and it's good for us as we have high-volume products that need to be accessed in real-time.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are mostly using Acumatica right now to track inventory, procurement, & financial reporting, We have had a lot of inventory issues & discrepancies in the past. Acumatica is helping us track our inventory levels, know when to create PO's to order more materials, & track the raw materials through to finished goods. We have only been using it for a few months, so we are still working through some kinks, but we are excited for the future.

Pros

  • The hierarchy of purchase requests & purchase orders - it allows us to ensure the proper approvals & processes we needed
  • The customizable abilities of the screens & reports has been amazing. We came from a very flat system with no custom options. Everyone can now view things the way the want, alter the reports to fit their needs, & it has been so helpful.

Cons

  • We dislike that when there is a PO receipt & it is reversed, it must be invoiced in order to clear it.
  • We had a rough implementation, not Acumatica's fault, but it has left a bad taste in the mouth of some of our users.

Return on Investment

  • We have only been using Acumatica a few months, but we already are able to track inventory better. This has already saved us a lot of time across multiple departments. It made our audit easier this year as well.
