Overall Satisfaction with Xactly Incent

I manage our sales compensation program through Xactly Incent. It helps to calculate large amounts of compensation data across multiple sales levels and geography.

Pros

  • It computes a lot of different factors to help simplify sales compensation for our sales reps
  • Customer Service
  • New and Interesting Product Features

Cons

  • Not very intuitive in my opinion. In my experience, you have to make changes by putting very specific details, and if you miss anything it rejects it.
  • Not sure about ROI, but there is a lot of value in the amount of time it has saved us
I have not had the opportunity to evaluate any other sales compensation systems.

Well Suited - great at organizing large amounts of data that spreadsheets would not be able to calculate. Less Appropriate - not so great at being user friendly and intuitive in my opinion.
