Overall Satisfaction with Xactly Incent

We use Xactly Incent within our organization to process commissions for our sales reps, as well as allowing them to drill into their sales performance each month. The product provides a site that allows the users to view their performance anywhere in the world, which is nice when they are on the road so much.

Pros

  • Integration of data into the Xactly Incent system is easy and straight forward.
  • The community portal is extremely helpful. You will be able to find answers to any question you have.
  • The product performs well for everything we use it for.

Cons

  • The interface does look old.
  • There is a little bit of setup needed to get everything set, like for a rebrand.
  • We use the software more for tracking than driving performance, so I wouldn't say the software itself has had much impact pushing business objectives.

Xactly Incent is great for a sales organization that needs to track revenue and gives out commissions. It is easy to add users, titles, quotas, and hierarchy in order to stay on top of changes within the organization. I'm not really sure what else the software is used for, as my organization only uses it for this purpose. I could see how it might be a little bit of a pain to setup from nothing, if you needed a full reset or were starting from zero.
