Overall Satisfaction with Webex App

Webex App is a collaborative solution for my team, which is used in office but especially for remote work. It enables the team to keep working in all conditions in a nomad way. After Covid, we needed a solution that enabled the team to keep in touch as we require several types of experts to intervene in any given customer situation. We needed a solution which would let us reach and be reached while being cost-effective.

Pros

  • Audio and Video calling. Any Webex App user in our organization can be reached internally but external customers or collaborators can be joined through PSTN calling as well through the app, without the need to have a calling device.
  • Asynchronous collaboration. We can all work and communicate, even in different time zones. The integration of Vidcast within the app is absolutely great and simplifies our job.
  • One app for multiple services. We use the same Webex App for calling, messaging and meetings, using the internal directory to contact everyone. We particularly love that we can contact any Webex user via message, even if they are not part of our organization.

Cons

  • Multiple accounts login. We wish we could have the ability to switch accounts in the app because we have multiple accounts for different organizations. It is truly a hassle to sign out and sign in several times.
  • It is great to have a web app for the Webex App, but it is severely limited. It would be great to have more features available.
  • I wish I could synchronize all the Webex contact details of the company to my Contacts page. Instead, I have to manually search for them or add them before they appear and stay on my Contacts page.
  • Remote work is possible, saving money and time with time to market our products.
  • Implementing and deploying a cloud solution saved us a lot because we don't need the infrastructure of an on-premise solution but retaining features possible on-prem, especially with Webex Calling.
  • With the Webex App, we saved over 20% of the budget because we didn't need to buy any other equipment than the employees PC. We invested in quality headsets instead of phones and still saved.
Webex App enables PSTN calling within the same platform. We do not want to overwhelm the team with several platforms, which will only result in having loss of productivity or efficiency because they will have to juggle with several different screens. Here, all the information is centralized. The analytics possibilities and metrics provided in the Control Hub were also a deciding factor for us.

In my work, I have to collaborate with external customers quite often. It was very easy to set up a dedicated space for each customer and collaborate with them there. Each space has its tabs, where we can chat, share files, use whiteboards or add apps and integrations. This enabled me to have a customized interaction with each of my customers, which in turn helped in the global satisfaction level. It was more convenient for both parties.
