Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Platform

Vista Host uses VEEAM for Virtual Machine Backups on Prem and Off site. We also use it to replicate VMS to our disaster recovery site in Austin.

Pros

  • Backup Virtual Machines
  • Replicate Virtual Machines
  • Copies Data to multiple locations

Cons

  • Replication of VM's in incremental portions.
  • Immutability with existing software.
  • The ROI impact has been approximately 350K in savings to the business.
Way easier to set up than most Backup Solutions out there including the replication portion for VM servers.
