Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

People know their stuff and go out of their way to help. They make up for a cruddy on-line product.
It's being used by the whole US organization (and Canada soon) to provide benefits, manage payroll and provide reporting.

Pros

  • Very good customer service on the phone (though don't really need that "Is there anything else we can help you with?").
  • Good benefit options.

Cons

  • UX is pretty awful - looks very 20th century and there is little thought about how a user uses system.
  • System is very slow.
  • Payroll is very clunky & quirky. Data uploads not easy - I find it easier to do by hand.
  • Employer main contact very inconsistent - goes from useless to very good. I have never even spoken with our senior account rep and I've been here for 7 months.
  • Allows small company employees to get good benefits
  • Namely and ADP
  • Namely - much better interface
  • ADP is global (but too expensive)
Small US-only companies that can't get decent benefits
