Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
TeamViewer is used by a department in our organization. Our goal here is to enable the relevant department to continue its business by connecting to the system it wants to access, platform / time independent and without any additional approval. TeamViewer can solve remote access problems in a very practical way.
Pros
- Remote Connection
- Reliability
- Ease of file transfer
- Installation is simple and customizable
- User-friendly interface
- Multi Platform Support
Cons
- If either side doesn't work in the old version, that's definitely the worst feature.
- It does not work properly if there is no fast and stable connection on both sides.
- If you are not using TeamViewer style programs, you have a few alternatives, but their access, security and licensing costs are much higher than TeamViewer costs. In an example scenario; You have to deal with a lot of extra costs such as VPN Server, VPN Client, Domain, Terminal Server, Remote Cal. TeamViewer gives you the advantage to bypass them.
- AnyDesk and Radmin Remote Administrator
I think the TeamViewer app is the most popular among IT professionals because of its simplicity. It has an interface that anyone who will use it for the first time will feel familiar [with]. During the period we supported users, it even offered an application that we could personalize on our behalf, sending it to the user and simply telling the password was enough for us. TeamViewer has constantly improved with technology and the years passed, but it has always kept this simplicity, and it has continued in all kinds of options it offers. Other apps have never been this convenient and simple.
