Overall Satisfaction with ScienceLogic

ScienceLogic has been recommended by my organization for our various customers to monitor their heterogeneous IT infrastructure environments, with visibility into the business mapping.

Pros

  • Monitoring of a heterogeneous environment.
  • Discovery and service mapping.
  • Event correlation.

Cons

  • Event automation functionality could be built within ScienceLogic.
  • Dashboard GUI.
  • License Structure.
  • Has provided higher availability of our systems.
  • Has improved our visibility into the environment health.
  • Faster root-cause analysis, due to its event correlation and service mapping functionalities.
ScienceLogic has better potential to do the required job within the right economy.
It is well suited where the infrastructure is scattered on-premise, as well as a hybrid cloud environment. It's less appropriate for a smaller environment, due to the cost.
