Overall Satisfaction with Rippling
My remote-first company uses Rippling for payroll, benefits and other human resources functions. We have approximately 75 people, and we're growing rapidly. I personally use Rippling to select my benefits during annual open enrollment, request time off, approve time off for my direct report, and I have used the hiring platform to review and communicate with candidates.
Pros
- Easy to check your pay stubs
- Walks you through benefit selections step by step and compares pricing
- Easy to request and approve time off
Cons
- Time off requests only visible to direct supervisor, not upper management
- In the hiring platform, the scans of PDF resumes are not always readable
- The search function in the hiring platform is not great. I could not always easily find the candidate profiles I wanted to review, even when I knew their name.
- Reduce employees asking repeated questions to HR staff e.g. "What are the insurance options?"
- Keeping 100 job candidates for an open position organized in one place reduced the need to email resumes around to hiring team
Rippling is more user-friendly than Workday. With Workday, things you enter would not always save correctly and I had to worry about entering my annual goals and having them get lost. I haven't had problems with Rippling's interface.
