Overall Satisfaction with Paycor
Paycor is our organization's HRIS and Payroll System. The product addresses document storage for employees, tracks deductions and accruals, assists with reporting, and files quarterly taxes and benefits administration. I am the company administrator and HR/Payroll Manager team of one, so this helps with the administrative burden and attempts to reduce manual processes by automating them.
Pros
- Paycor pushes job openings to job boards for applicant tracking and hiring purposes.
- Paycor manages documents signed at onboarding.
- Paycor assists with benefit accrual tracking.
Cons
- Customer service leaves much to be desired. When I contact support advocates, responses and knowledge vary. I usually know more than they do.
- Paycor lacks very much in reporting. I usually have to run multiple separate reports to consolidate all the data I need. This is cumbersome and adds the probability of human error that shouldn't be there.
- Paycor has system stability issues.
- Connections between Frankenstein systems are clunky and rugged for field employees to use. This limits the ways we can automate as it often causes more work and not less.
- Mobile app needs full functionality for employees and managers.
- Knowledge base (and even customer support) references products I don't have access to.
- Paycor has decreased efficiency.
- Paycor takes time away form strategic HR tasks.
- Paycor has negatively impacted our employee experience in a significant way.
- BambooHR and APS Payroll
I did not select Paycor. I would not pick it in future roles.
