Overall Satisfaction with Okta

I use Okta daily at work for secure access to the apps and tools my team relies on. Okta simplifies authentication so that we can log in quickly and securely. The main business problem it solves is reducing the risk of unauthorized access. Our use case includes managing user across multiple systems, everyone in the company uses Okta and gets into the tools without friction.

Pros

  • Strong multi-factor authentication, I put a code every day apart of the password
  • Self service password reset, I reset my password securely and quick
  • Single sing-on, once I log in I get access to everything I need

Cons

  • Okta is great, is a solid product
  • Maybe there are areas Okta could improve
  • Some app integrations require manual setup or lack deep functionality
  • Okta reduces the time needed to onboard new applications and users
  • Automated IT processes save hundreds of hours per year
  • Using Okat our company have reduce security incidents as much as 50%

Okta is the best tool for securing our apps and tools, it simplifies integrating multiple identity systems, and I can easily access and control the tools I use at work. Okta is a lifesaver for my team. I really do not have any less appropriate scenarios with Okta.
