Overall Satisfaction with Okta

We use Okta for SAML authentication and to create and disable accounts using SCIM. This dramatically improves security; accounts that don't have passwords can't be hacked using that vector. The automated setup saves time when new people are hired or existing people leave. It also saves money by ensuring accounts are dealt with immediately, with fewer stale accounts.

  • This saves LOTs of time for creating and disabling accounts.
  • Authentication is so easy, no tickets for integrated apps about forgotten passwords.

If you have no cloud presence and don't worry about authentication for your app, this app probably isn't for you. If either of these are things you care about, Okta has something that can help you! It integrates great with onprem AD if you use it.
