Overall Satisfaction with NinjaOne
Being a MSP (managed service provider) we use NinjaOne to Manage and maintain all of our clients endpoints and servers. Having a few hundred customers of various sizes, NinjaOne allows us to manage them all with ease. Being a PowerShell enthusiast, Having the ability to create and maintain a constant, persistent connection to the devices is super helpful.
Pros
- PowerShell Persistent Connections
- Single big picture view of all devices being managed
- Deployment of scripts as system or as user
Cons
- Big picture View of software installed across all (or specific set) of devices
- ability to access NinjaOne Custom fields when running scripts as the user
- ability to access NinjaOne agents whos ninja service is stuck
- Ability to migrate clients from one MSP to another without having to rip and replace.
- once you fix something for one client it can be easily implemented at another
- documentation of big picture view aides in customer presentations
- ability to find the data that the customer is unable to assist with ie. what is your computer name? Don't know. no problem I found it by looking up your log in name
About 2 years ago we evaluated about a dozen similar utilities that are all aimed at managing and maintaining endpoint from several customers at the same time. At the end of the evaluation, NinjaOne was chosen based on several criteria specifically targeting the use case that we have found ourselves in with the hundreds of customers we are actively supporting today.
