Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

We mainly use it for editorial workflow, in order to make sure intel gets uploaded onto our site in a timely manner. We also use it to coordinate and manage wider scale projects across departments and continents. We store a lot of data on monday.com, it helps us save time as we are able to quickly filter information and mirror data across boards. We use calendar features a lot also to stay on top of up coming company deadlines and tracking how many pieces of intel we should be expecting. It helps us to efficiently deal with a huge amount of data and save time analyzing it.

I think it is very useable for me in my job, but can find that to get others on board within my company it takes quite a lot of persuading. I think that there is so much functionality with monday.com and so much that it can be used for, it tends to intimidate others and thus proves slightly less useable to them. But for me, in my position, I find it incredibly intuitive and user friendly
Support from monday.com team and my CSM has been incredible. Many times I have had a 1 2 1 catch up with [...] in order to speak through a different process that I need a fix for, and pretty much every time she has been able to help me out with a work around or by pointing out a plug in that I can add. I have also used the Help tool in monday.com and my issue to resolved promptly by a real person who was great help over email. I cannot fault it.
Overall performance is great and we rely on monday.com a lot, which means when it does have short outages it does have a huge knock on effect for us. I have definitely noticed that outages have significantly decreased, and I overall feel that monday.com is very reliable. And even when there are outages they are dealt with promptly and we are updated via the status page throughout.

Well suited
  • Manging huge amounts of data
  • Collaborating across different departments and geographies
  • Managing calendars
  • Adding integrations with different platforms such as Slack and adding automated notifications
  • Large long form projects
Less well suited
  • Smaller everyday tasks (that are bit long form), when added to a new board, it can look more like a list and doesn't really offer any interesting ways to hold this information
