Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

We use monday.com for all of our business needs. We track all of our employees, our events, our tasks via monday. We use the automations to time track between statuses, email vendors to follow up on outstanding Accounts Payable, email clients to follow up on outstanding Accounts Receivable. We use the monday docs to keep our SOPs in order right next to the boards that they are relevant for. We love monday!!!

Pros

Cons

  • Needs more spreadsheet functionality. While there are 'formula' columns, they need to have the ability to write formulas in a cell / override, do more data analysis via monday.
  • Would be nice to have the ability for a client to fill out a form & it populate the same row that the form was created from
  • monday has made our business more efficient. It has automated our workflows. Our employees are more efficient and organized using monday.
The UI is something that is amazing about monday! It's so easy to use and understand. It's the familiarity of a spreadsheet with the rules and organization of a super advanced amazing product. It's easy to grasp and adopt. I love the flexibility of how you can set up boards and views in the exact way you want. Would recommend! We use it all the time.
I love the monday team! They are very responsive at any question. They are able to help us solve anything from a small problem to a large one. Their team is helpful. As a startup, they are very interested in learning about our problems and use cases so they can iterate on the product.
It's always up! No downtime ever.

monday is great for project management, task management. We use it as a team to track our business level OKRs. We create meeting agendas and assign tasks via a monday board. We track our events, clients, and their stages via a monday board. It is not well suited as a CRM alternative (yet) as the workflows are not as powerful as HubSpot for example.
