Monday.com: questionable name, fabulous software
Overall Satisfaction with monday.com
We needed a central place to organize our data for both office and remote workers (that wasn't spreadsheets.) We wanted to be able to track our projects (publications) from start to finish from pre-planning stage all the way to printed/warehoused and have access to all that data historically, both easily and quickly. Now we are able to see where a project or potential project stands at a glance and communicate with the appropriate person if we have questions.
Pros
- Very useful automations that can take regular tasks off your plate
- Clean, organized layout that makes it easy to find what you're looking for
- Super fast and easy support when you have questions!
Cons
- I'd prefer the option for automations to be done without there being a notification about it in the updates section. (Ie, It sends an automated email--I don't really need everyone to see that happening in the updates.)
- Monday has been a real time (and frustration) saver since all users are able to find what they need to know in one place rather than asking around or searching for compartmentalized spreadsheets. For us the ROI is perhaps not quantifiable, but definitely hefty. I especially love the automated email feature at the click of a button!
Only rarely have I noticed a lag or glitch when using monday and usually changing browsers fixes the issue. It has been reliable--I like that automations that I need to happen do so without me having to think about them, so I can jump to the next task and trust monday to send that email for me, mark that box for me, move that item to the appropriate group for me, etc.
