Overall Satisfaction with monday.com
We use it as a team in various ways. We have our personal boards for our projects, but we also have a a workflow coming in for all team projects. This workflow is from Qualtrics to Google Sheets to Monday. We are still in the process of figuring things out, but are working on having individual timelines for each project we accept. This leads to a master list, and we are working on an integration to have the projects be automatically put onto a different board once people are assigned to it.
Pros
- Zapyear integration
- Board integrations/workflows
- Status customization
Cons
- Have more customization in groups on a board (Allow dates in one group, but can delete them off another)
- Have more customizations of project timelines (some projects only have 3 steps while others have 6, it would be nice to show that in a timeline format easily)
- Personally, I have all email notifications on but I do not receive emails when I am added to a new project.
- Project Management
- Helped with overall team organization since we have continuous conversations about our methods of projects requests
- Increased awareness of project progress and time management
It has been great so far. It hasn't been too long, but I haven't had many issues, I'm exploring the platform and its capabilities, and it has been up and working when I need it to be. The customized statuses are really helpful, especially as I adjust them to see what works and what doesn't.
