Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro to build large presentations and working decks with my broader team. On a normal basis boards are being worked on by around 15-30 people and shared to 50-100.

Pros

  • Multiuser Friendliness
  • iPhone/App version works well
  • Easy to understand for a beginner based off symbol/icons in toolbar
  • Provides blank canvas for creatives to be able to build in their own unique way

Cons

  • PDF & printable opportunities--not easy to scale or quickly convert Miro boards to a PDF or print off when needed
  • quantifying capabilities--able to tally the number of items/words/etc in a workbook
  • organization--it lacks the ability to clearly organize public boards into personal folders for that single user (think how one can organize their own email inbox into folder and subfolers
  • It's increased the speed of project delivery with multiuser feature
  • It's increased the amount of layouts/views created--giving fresh perspective to repetitive business needs
It's very beginner friendly with an easy to approach toolbar and functions. However, it's not digestible for a non-user to navigate beginnig to end like one would be able to do with a power point or excel sheet. It also lacks the ability to hold and present analytical data.
The comment tool allows my team on the other side of the globe to communicate efficiently while on opposite time zones.
Yes, it makes me realize how uncollaborative other tools can be. Miro is also by far the easiest working tool to use from a visual standpoint--with pasting in visuals being extremely quick. While it's amazing for working in it lacks the presentation/end result effect other tools have. The difficulty to convert to a PDF or print makes it hard to present/quickly share out.
Miro offers a quick, multiteam member friendly, whiteboard that feels the most creative friendly. However, the two other products are stronger in the presentation area and can link to other systems used in my company.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is well suited when you are collaborating with creatives, for when you need a visual presentation/view, and when you need to have multiple people working in an area at once. Miro is less suited for projects that are numbers focused, need to quantify data, or be share with non-Miro users or a mass audience.
