Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro for client facing and internal workshops. It helps us to visually ideate and problem solve processes and also build our scope of works for clients. As a primarily remote agency we love this tool as it helps us to feel more in the same room as our team and clients, and work together on exercises.
Pros
- moodboard
- ai integration
- workboard
- process display
Cons
- Integration with other tools
- User testing integrations
- Guided tutorials
- Accuracy of scopes
- Speed of workshops
- Client trust
- Team engagement
The presentation and slides mode was a great feature to add. We found we were spending a lot of time summarising workshops and building presentations based on them, we now use AI to summarise the meetings and then build presentations. The only draw back is it does not capture the verbal communications and information so that means some things may be missed. So it would be great to add this to further support with this process being more immersive.
Miro still sits a little separately to some of our other workflows. We work with Figma so often it is more preferential to use their white boarding tools for ease of collaboration. The slides and presentation feature is good, but we aren't fully able to automate this with our styling so often we have to lift this info into a branded deck in another platform.
Miro certainly has a lot more features. The AI is excellent and very helpful for scope writing. I haven't seen this yet in FigJam, yet FigJam is more native to us due to our excessive use of Figma as a tool. Ensuring clients don't have to create too many logins is important, so often we do use FigJam over Miro for this reason.
