Overall Satisfaction with Miro

As an undergraduate student, I use Miro mainly in group projects. Most of the time, the groups are made up of different people. I believe that the teams division is not very intuitive on the platform, causing people to create boards with other members within the same team. I often receive updates from boards I didn't create or participate in, and other people are added to boards I created.

Pros

  • flowcharts
  • pdf reader
  • upload different types of files

Cons

  • few fonts
  • measures and scale
  • text tools, in general
  • faster deliveries
  • reduces the number of softwares used in projects
  • makes working remotely easier
Miro's usability is good, but some tools can disrupt the workflow, such as the delay in loading PDFs, the difficulty in changing the appearance of diagrams and the small number of text tools available. The zoom tool is great, and the use of arrows to connect items makes usability easier
I frequently use the tool to add web pages through links, and also add images with the paste tool. The tool that caught my attention the most at the beginning and was the main one used for a long time was free hand drawing. More recently, I've been using Google Document Viewer and Google Drive downloads.
Yes, through the various tools, compatibility with many types of files and connection with applications, mainly from Google, I can work with fewer tabs open on the computer, making it run faster. Another facility is presenting the work process quickly, using the presentation tool, making the use of power point or other presentation tools unnecessary
Working in Figma is more difficult due to its non-intuitive interface, although it also has good drawing tools and supports a good variety of files. Compared to Miro, it has fewer tools and they are more difficult to use. Jamboard is very limited, few tools and little file compatibility. Its only advantage is that it is a Google program, which avoids the need to create another account on another platform and allows connection with other applications such as Google Meet

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I like using Miro to view several files at a time and relate them, draw collaboratively and make functional flowcharts. It is not useful for making good looking flowcharts, or for writing texts. Although it is a very useful tool, the PDF reader is slow, which can disrupt the workflow
