Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro as a photography teacher. I've always had a problem with how to share student work best when it's multiple students concisely sharing various photos. Using Miro has made it easier for students to share their work in a way that they can add their images, and then we, as a class, can see and comment on them.

Pros

  • Organizing images.
  • Making it easy to comment on the board.
  • Collaborating on one board between multiple users.

Cons

  • The board gets very slow and laggy when too many people are using it, or photos exist.
  • Comment functionality can sometimes be challenging for how they appear on work.
  • It's not a business, so it's not reality pertinent.
It's been great because it's something that I can have my students update and add to from wherever they are at any time. It's just something we can use, and I don't have to worry about having them physically be in the same space and still be able to do our work.
It's just better collaboratively.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

It's great for collaborative artwork, which is what I am mainly teaching. It's pretty easy for high school students to understand and has made the way we can share work as a class much easier and streamlined. I've found it's not as good if we all share a lot of photos vs just 3-5.
