Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I utilize Miro to map out process workflows, create visualizations to explain complex relationships, to brainstorm ideas, and to manage weekly stakeholder meetings. The ease of use in Miro, along with the breadth of templates and shapes available, allow for visualizing nearly anything I need. In addition, I am able to easily bring in content from outside of Miro or link to it.
Pros
- Providing a variety of templates that already come prepopulated with examples
- Providing a variety of shapes and connectors
- Allowing for multiple individuals to collaborate together on a single board
Cons
- I typically use the Chevron shape in PPT, which does not currently exist in Miro. There is a workaround, albeit cumbersome
- Frames could be improved. When I have a variety of frame sizes and show them in sequence, like a PPT slide deck, then they don't always fit nicely onto the screen. Maybe provide a layout template
- I can't think of anything else
- Improved productivity
- Reduced project completion time
I work with other employees that are scattered across the US and some in India. Miro has made it easy to collaborate on a whiteboard what we would have done in person in the past, which would have required travel time and costs.
