Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro to make process maps and charts for my internship. It has been a super helpful platform because each item is easily movable and changeable. I also really like the feature of being able to comment on the platform itself, and being able to link things directly to the shape.
Pros
- Make charts
- Make process maps
- create diagrams
Cons
- More shapes
- Automatic fit to area
- Different colors
- Information is easier to spread
- Improved production
- Fun to use.
I like that you are able to collaborate on boards together. The original project maker is able to see comments from other people in the office, and other people can edit the same board if they wish or create a new one. I wish you could create a few more boards at once.
I have not used other platforms for process mapping. The only other platform that my colleagues would recommend to me for that is possible Microsoft Excel, but since people were already using Miro, I never tried to look elsewhere. With how simple it was to use Miro I didn't feel the need to look at anything else, and I wish I had more chances to use it for process mapping and diagrams.

Evaluating Miro and Competitors
Not Sure
- Scalability
I did not choose to utilize Miro, but I do know that my supervisor liked process mapping a lot and that is why he used Miro. Other people in the office such as the business operations people also liked using it, and it became more widespread then.
Miro Implementation

7 - Business operations and communications department.
I am unsure of how many people in the office support it.
Miro Training
- No Training
I imagine that people did not need training and just experimented with it until they found results they were happy with.
Configuring Miro
My best practice would be to just experiment with it and see the different options you have. Think about the project or thing that you're aiming to display and I'm sure that you will find something that you're happy with.
