Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro across our product and engineering teams as the main ideation collaboration tool and project space where teams map out customer and data flows. We also have Retros and draw-out roadmaps. It's a really useful tool for ideation, getting people on the same page, conveying ideas visually, and solving problems together.

Pros

  • Roadmapping
  • Whiteboarding
  • Retros
  • Service Design.

Cons

  • Their talk track can be better - we still use Loom.
  • Very useful communication tool in a remote team.
  • Visualisation helps people align better.
Integrates very easily with Notion and Slack.
It helps a LOT! Our primary comms tool alongside Notion is to capture information and align across teams.
Miro is very intuitive, but I think it's more a force of habit. The features aren't massively differentiated; it's just that we've been using Miro for longer and are used to it.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

The use cases we use it for the most have already been mentioned: (1) whiteboarding, (2) brainstorming, (3) roadmapping, (4) Retors.
