Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We facilitate a lot of workshops for growth strategy and innovation, and so use Miro heavily for this. The voting, timers and other features for workshops really make the sessions more interesting and dynamic, especially when they need to be virtual for some or all attendees.
I also use it for brainstorming and storyboarding on projects and mind-mapping analysis frequently.
I've started using it more for presenting, to save switching between one app for work-shopping and another for presenting.

Pros
- Mind mapping: enabling me to collect and connect insights as I build reports and strategies for clients
- Workshop facilitation: the multi-user functionality, and features added over time like timers and voting have all made workshops - whether virtual or in-person, more enjoyable
- Presentation: this one has surprised me, but with the "Present" feature, and even the "follow" feature on when not using Present mode, you can deliver pretty cool and interesting presentations right within Miro
Cons
- Adding more and more PowerPoint like functionality to the Present Mode, like animations, and the ability to add speaker notes to frames
- Embedding live calling/video into Miro: I'd love to just be able to host a call IN Miro, and see little video bubbles to the side or down below of the other attendees or the current speaker, rather than have to share Miro in Google Meet etc
- Ability to embed a brand style guide to restyle templates quickly, custom fonts etc would be great
- Simplification: with the growing features being added, a number of business processes - like collaborative story-boarding have been made simpler for me, and save me time and money
- Digitisation: what used to be reams of flipchart paper and hundreds of post-its at the end of a workshop is now a permanent digital archive of the workshop session
- Increased a-sync and multi-location productivity: workshops that used to require travel and be hard to schedule can now be done virtually, and even asynchronously, with Miro
As already mentioned, Miro has allowed me to work more asynchronously and remotely with key clients, and business partners:
- running workshops with participants on multiple continents
- building reporting storyboards that my business partners in different cities and timezones can review and contribute to in their own preferred time
- creating digital captures of workshops and meetings that people that could not join due to leave, or timezone clashes, can review after the session and add their comments and thoughts easily

- Mural and Microsoft Teams
Miro was just more intuitive to get into using productively, and with very few exceptions, just always works. I rarely had a user or guest have access issues (which was a bugbear with Teams), and everyone can figure it out pretty quickly (easier in my opinion than Mural).
