Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro mostly for organizing, e.g we use it in our new business process to collect files, communicate to dos and shares not. We also create our project timelines in Miro. Also we share designs with our customers via Miro and have them feedback using stickies and create workshop boards. Lastly we use it for random brainstorming session or to collect random pieces of informations

Pros

  • simple navigation and low entrance barriere
  • design and ux
  • functions like timers, reactions and tagging
  • flexibility to add files etc
  • api's

Cons

  • find the right scale/size/zoom can be difficult if you work on different screen sizes - sometimes its too small and you get lost, sometimes its too big and you cannot zoom out far enough
  • more option when its come to exporting pdfs
  • a hidden function where certain people can still see it, e.g. when you work with a client but have a board to collect notes that the client shouldnt see
  • we reduced our time needed to create a project time plan
  • Our workshops are more interactive
  • We reduced the time needed to organize new business offers
It was easy and quick. Any changes to time size, needed licenses etc can be done super simple.
Miro is our go to tool when it comes to organizing a new project. We used for internal planning session and to keep an overview moving forward. We also used to align with out clients on their project and create transparency around timelines and milestones.

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is great for all kinds of workshops and ideation sessions. Its easy to use and gives a lot flexibility. Even with larger groups workshops can be accessible to everyone.
Everything reg planning and time organization can be tricky. Things like project plan, scrum sprints, timeline or calendars are pretty time-consuming to set up and keep tidy. Theres no function to automate those kinds of content. But with feature like stickys and being to access it at the same time still makes Miro appropriate esp if you want clients to be self-reliant and check in .
