Overall Satisfaction with Miro

As a program manager I conduct quarterly planning exercise with internal and customer teams. We start from the expected business outcomes, and then jointly with around 20 plus engineers plan on the middle board. I also use the Miro board for different floor diagrams capturing risk issues as well. I also created some templates for internal use within my company.

Pros

  • Easy to create
  • Easy to collaborate
  • No bugs

Cons

  • Notify users in case of accidents and mistakes
  • Notify users in case of accidents and mistakes
  • Notify users in case of accidents and mistakes
  • Quarterly planning in 4 hours versus three or four different meetings at different times.
  • Possibility to perform remote collaboration versus spending so much money on travel to do it in person.
  • Ability to create that whiteboard experience remote.
Without Miro we would have to spend a lot on travel to perform the planning in person. Considering around $700 for a 2-day trip, for 10 persons it would come to at least $7,000. We have at least five program managers perform such planning in one quarter.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Any use case where you would use a whiteboard in conference room is the best use for Miro. Club Miro with a meeting where somebody shares a screen and other people can collaborate at the same time. You can ask users to continue putting the ideas on Miro board until the next meeting.

If users are not so IT savvy It may be difficult for them to learn Miro in a short time.
