Overall Satisfaction with Litmus

We use litmus to QA emails from platform testing to the approval process. Litmus is especially great for multiplatform testing. However, some of the weak points if non gif support as the renders is image-based. The litmus proofs are used by multiple stakeholders to QA the email such as strategy, product, leadership, marketing communications, etc.

  • integration with other products especially for analytics. Litmus has great tracking and could be used for email integration.
  • Proofs and review saves time and reduce risk of a wrong email going out
While having the same core feature, litmus slightly edges out an Email on Acid with proof features, version control, and commenting. However, Email on Acid is cheaper but litmus still provides a better value proposition with its complete package. The integration of Email on Acid is also lacking compared to litmus.

Litmus is well suited for testing emails on multiple platforms and reviewing proofs. There is some litmus integration with certain platforms such as SFMC which allows you to visualize the renders right in SFMC. Its reporting and integration with other platforms to provide a more automated experience would be appreciated such as the analytics for an apple privacy policy.
