Overall Satisfaction with Gusto

We use Gusto to manage vacation days, record hours, and manage payroll.

Pros

  • Simplicity of the platform is great.
  • Fun branding, emails, etc.
  • Simple button to clock in and out - great on mobile.

Cons

  • It gets glitchy occasionally. Some teammates aren't able to clock in or out some days.
  • I wish you could submit expenses on the mobile app.
  • It has taken our HR rep some time to learn it and be able to answer the team's questions, but overall, after learning the software, it has been better than any other payment methods and time trackers we have used.
I would give it a 10 if it had all the same functions on mobile as it does on desktop and didn't glitch or take a long time to load.
We have used a personal accountant and Quickbooks. Gusto is the best so far because it is more affordable and makes fewer mistakes.
