Overall Satisfaction with Demandbase One

Demandbase One solves a few problems for us. First is helps me as an outbound sales person pick accounts to reach out to, which is a main part of my job. Second, it helps me stay updated on my accounts and which businesses might be having insider discussions of my company. and Third, it will sometimes give me specific names on who has been looking through our content.

Pros

  • Live notifications through slack
  • Easy to use dashboard
  • Picks up prospect names at times

Cons

  • Sometimes it feels like there's too much going on in the actual Demandbase One homepage - lots of things to be clicking on, but I only use for specific use cases
  • Positive ROI on time researching
  • Positive ROI on pipeline
  • Positive ROI on revenue
I think that Demandbase One is best used through other channels or software applications - the two that come to mind are Salesforce and slack. Both make prospecting a lot easier and slack notifications are how I stay updated in a lively manner. The homepage itself could be more intuitive, sometimes there is a lot going on.
Truly, I have not used anything super similar to Demandbase One, which maybe is why I am so blown away by the services. I have not used a platform that truly shows who is interested and backs it up with reliable information. At my past B2B tech company, there was some sort of in house program that I felt did not work very well.

If you do any sort of outbound prospecting, then Demandbase One could surely be of use. Whether AE, SDR, or any manager of those two, staying weary of who is lurking or showing interest is, in my opinion, a must have. If you are not on the sales or marketing side then I see limited use cases.
