Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Celonis is widely used across our organization in several business areas for Process Mining and Process Intelligence Use Cases. We have established our own CoE a few year ago to serve as first point of contact to our business users. Within the CoE we develop new Use Cases mainly in the core business areas Procurement, Sales, Finance and Production not only from an analytical but also from a highly operational perspective.

Cons

Lack of overall alignment of product strategy (consistency in releases of new features)
Previously product features were released too early with bugs that need to be fixed step by step
Room for improvement for more granular and advanced permission concept

Increase in throughput times across several business processes (e.g. supplier complaint process)
Higher customer satisfaction (reliability on delivery dates)

Celonis is very powerful in analyzing process data and process KPIs. It offers possibilities to set up and schedule the data pipeline to update data in near real-time (depending on the Use Case) to make it accessible for operational Use Cases. It can then be linked to automated workflows (Action Flows) by manual or actionable triggers. In a nutshell it can be applied highly aggregated for top management or very detailed for the shopfloor.
