Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is utilised for recording staff working patterns and holiday allowance.
It enables the staff to submit holiday requests at any point, see when they have been approved and see how many holidays they have left to take. It also enables the employee to see if time absent is due to sickness or whether it has been taken for a holiday.

Pros

Records absence and breaks it down into why the person was absent i.e holiday, sick, late
Easy to amend working pattern once you know how
Easy to upload documents

Cons

To be able to edit contract summary to change working patterns instead of having to add a new working pattern.
To be able to put in flexible work patterns as some staff work different shifts during school term time to holidays.
For BrightHR to remotely take over the system when assistance required.

Return on Investment

Again it isn't use to it's maximum capacity so ROI is low
Only used to record holidays

Usability

We only use it to record holidays and working patterns. When we have to edit anything it usually requires a phone call to BrightHR and or a lot of time spent playing around trying to amend the system. However, I always get through to staff to assist on the phone promptly and they are always knowledgeable and most helpful.

Well suited to record staff working hours and holiday entitlement but I don't feel that we probably use it to it's maximum capacity.
