Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Avalara is used by our accounting sales tax team. We use it for reporting, pulling numbers, monthly reconciliations, and certificates.

We use the program often to check refunds or credits and for preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly filings

Usability

Programs are easy learn and navigate with many options for our company. The transaction reports are perfect for reconciling our monthly sales tax spreadsheets . The program does all of the hard work.

Alternatives Considered

Since I've been working for my company, we have only utilized the Avalara program.

The monthly reports and very helpful for preparing sales tax returns. Pulling transactions for monthly reporting is very helpful. CertCapture is easy to use, but finding out how to do things like requesting certificates within CertCapture has been complicated for me and others in our company.
