Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now
We use ADP Workforce Now across our entire organization for things like time-keeping, payroll, recruiting, time-off tracking, onboarding, I-9 management, benefits enrollment. This platform allows our organization to house the majority of the HR/payroll activities in one place instead of multiple.
Pros
- Benefits enrollment makes it easy to remind eligible employees and allows them to do everything online which eliminates paper forms.
- Time-off policies with tracking for federal & state sick leave would be a hassle for us to do manually. ADP does a great job of making it easy to set up and automatically granting time earned.
Cons
- Customer Service - Half of the time you get someone that speaks broken English making it difficult to communicate with them. The other issue with their customer service is always getting someone different on the phone, which results in having to explain your unique situation EVERY time you have to call in.
- I really wish they would implement a "preview user" mode so that you can see what your employees see on their screen.
- We have offices in NY and FL so ADP Workforce Now helps to stay consistent with all employees.
- It's allowed us to use ADP Workforce Now for almost everything HR & payroll-related, and it's all housed in the same software making it easy to find.
- Talent Platform
- Document Cloud
Talent Platform is helpful so you can post your job, have your applicants come through and then move them to onboarding if you hire them.
Document Cloud is nothing like I thought it was going to be. It's literally just a place to store documents. You cannot assign areas to be filled out by the employee and then have them sign the document. It's really quite pointless for the amount of money that you spend on the product.

- BambooHR and ADP Resource (Discontinued)
BambooHR is extremely user-friendly and is significantly cheaper than the add-ons available with ADP. The HR functions like getting employees to sign policies and fill out forms are really easy to navigate and track. I also really liked their verbiage in that software--not robot-sounding. The only reason that software would not work for my organization is that it doesn't incorporate time and attendance.
