Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

We are in the implementation process for Acumatica and currently use different platforms for accounting, time keeping, inventory management, and project management. Once Acumatica is fully implemented we will be able to consolidate into one platform allowing for ease of use and consistency. Although we are not currently signed up for Manufacturing, I am going to speak to our executive team and try to push us to use it.

Pros

  • Consolidates the different platforms needed to manage the business
  • Integrates with HR platform to keep information flowing
  • Keeps inventory records up to date

Cons

  • customizations are sometimes difficult to use
  • the help icons don't always contain useful information. There is one that the description is the word for the field
  • I'm excited for the AI capabilities that are coming up
  • it will consolidate the different platforms we use
  • it will enable consistency in inventory management
  • it has taken a long time to implement
nothing yet as we have not finished implementation.

From what I've seen Acumatica will be a big time saver for my organization, however we have to finish implementation first! It has been a long process that no particular party can take the blame. We have internal processes that are constantly changing due to our rapid growth. Once we begin using it though, we will be able to have a better handle on inventory and consolidate the different platforms we use for consistency.
