Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

We are a distribution business. Acumatica handles ALL of our software needs aside from our warehouse operations.

Pros

  • Customizability. I love how we can program our own customizations on top of Acumatica’s code.
  • Data at our fingertips. It’s so easy to whip up a generic inquiry to see the data you need real time.
  • Web native. It was born on the web and you can tell.
  • Acumatica is always improving the product. Each year it is better and adds improvements that help our business succeed.

Cons

  • The warehouse software has a long way to go to be useful for most companies with medium warehouse volume
  • The report builder is hard to work with (although generic inquires are great)
  • They’ve made performance improvements but still unexplainably slow at times
  • More visibility into data for faster business decisions
  • Able to scale up employees quickly
  • Our revenue has increased about 50% since moving to Acumatica
  • Up to date data at any moment

We were able to revamp our returns process thanks for acumatica, allowing us to be credit back to the customers much more quickly and get the inventory back on our shelves.
We use it for all our internal business software needs except for the warehouse.
Acumatica had the best license model and the best customization capabilities.
