Ziflow - The Editing Platform Must-Have

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We create digital renderings and upload the drafts to Ziflow for clients to review and make edits. A problem we have is only with the live tours, as an extension needs to be downloaded, and some clients don't like that. Other than that, it is a relatively easy platform to use. I find it best to create folders and share the folder link with the client so that they have a place to find all their drafts/proofs.

Pros

  • Compare mode for different versions
  • Easy editing capabilities that show where the edit needs to be
  • Easy to export and review edits
  • Easy to upload new versions

Cons

  • live site editing and possibly showing a small snippet of the screenshot in the comment section so others can see if a comment they had was already made.
  • It would be really great if there was some nudges the first time someone used the platform. Pointing out where to make edits and then comparing them more. Just a quick walkthrough.
  • I would love to be able to use the platform to collect material from the client for internal review.

Return on Investment

  • Time-saving
  • Efficiency
  • Some clients won't learn the software
  • Internal QC

  • Please add Zoom to the files with just a tab/mouse.
  • Ability to choose the theme (dark/day mode).

Return on Investment

  • I reduced the mistakes in the print.

Helps us with review process for regulatory needs

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Ziflow for food label review to ensure it meets all regulatory specifications and also to provide design feedback. It allows us to keep careful records of change versions to understand what happened between versions, and to ensure that everyone can get to the work asynchronously in their own workflows.

Pros

  • Showing changes by having versions
  • Easy to add comments
  • Easy to invite additional reviewers

Cons

  • Would love to be able to see the version without the red comment flags - a "review" view as sometimes I can't see the big picture once it's all tagged
  • Pricing is a bit high for the # of seats - feels like it's an arbitrary restriction
  • Email notification settings are unwieldy - could be much more customizable and pre-set

Return on Investment

  • Fewer errors
  • Regulatory adherence

Simplifies the correction process.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Ziflow at our company to review decks and web pages. We review our content internally and with our clients. I really like the fact that we can add comments over threads, leave things open, and close out others. You can also compare versions. It's a really good platform with good UX.

Pros

  • Organize content and compare decks.
  • Easy UX.
  • A simple way to mark errors or corrections.

Cons

  • I would love open items to migrate to the new version if they're not complete.
  • Sometimes, I wish there were fewer emails.

Return on Investment

  • Saves a lot of time on corrections.
  • The best process to avoid losing comments along the way.
