What is WeTravel?

WeTravel is a payment platform and booking system for travel organizers.

Benefits include:

Lower fees: The product allows organizers to collect funds online directly from a client's US bank account. WeTravel charges a 1% processing fee and no monthly fees. Organizers can save on credit card fees and immediately boost their bottom line by 2-3%.

More professional payment collection: The payment platform provides a modern way to collect payments.

Simple Booking Management System: WeTravel is a complete booking and CRM system. Travel professionals manage all financials (refunds, payment plans, payouts to vendors) and all communication through the dashboard for custom group trips and FIT arrangements.

WeTravel boasts users among travel organizers, including large travel companies, tour operators and DMCs, but also smaller player such as yoga retreat organizers, individual travel agents or student trip organizers.

Pros

Customer Service is top notch and incredibly responsive to any tech issues or questions.
WeTravel is constantly improving their softwares’ functionality and adding new features for payment collection in multiple currencies, vendor payouts, registrant information collection, etc.
Their fees are only about 1% of your trip’s revenue, which is much less than Square or PayPal.

Cons

Refunds. I'd like to be able to refund any amount of the trip cost, not just payments in full. For example, someone puts down a $500 trip deposit. WeTravel only gives me the option to refund that $500 in full, not partially.

Return on Investment

Since their fees are minimal (about 1%), we've been able to save money vs. if we went with other payment processers like PayPal or Square.
